Obituary of Calvin Scott DeGolyer III

After a brief illness, C. Scott DeGolyer III passed away on October 16, 2018 surrounded by his family. Scott was an amazing son, brother, father, and friend to many across the community and country. On April 30, 1954 "Bunny" Edith (Raabe) DeGolyer and Cal DeGolyer Jr had their first son. Named Scott, after his grandfather, C. Scott DeGolyer Sr. His spirit will be carried on by the many people he affected throughout his life on his many adventures. Scott is survived by three children, Hannah Lee Drouhard (Ben Drouhard), Elissa DeGolyer, Calvin Scott DeGolyer IV, mother of the children and wife, Barbara (Broughton) DeGolyer. Scott was one of four children. His older sisters Christine DeGolyer, Ruth Lee Hackett (Ed Hackett), and younger brother Todd DeGolyer, will always remember him. Scott was also a part of the lives of many cousins, nieces, nephews and Yuckabucks. Scott’s family will have a celebration of life at St Mary’s Hall in Silver Springs on Saturday, December 1st from 2pm until 6 pm. Music, food and drinks will be provided.
