To My Dear Sister:
I miss you so much every day. You were the best big sister ever; you watched over me from the day I was born. You were the one I talked to, commiserated with, shared things with. You loved it when I sent pictures and videos of my grandkids, especially the twins. I am so glad you were able to come to Maryland last May for the twins' first birthday party. It was your chance to see my kids again and to meet the grands for the first time. For months afterward you talked about how much it meant to you, but it couldn't have meant more to you than it did to me to have you here.
Your passing has left a huge hole in my heart, but I am also so grateful I had you as my sister for so many years. You were not only my sister but my best friend. My life has been richer because of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being the wonderful sister and friend you were. I am forever thankful. I love you.
Nancy

Good Morning Skip:
I was sorry to hear about Sandy. I remember when I first started at Kaman, Berlove, she was one of the first people that I met there, and she never hesitated to help me with any questions that I had, no matter how busy she was. I greatly appreciated that. She will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Kevin Mara

Dearest Skip,
I am so very sorry. She was my dearest friend for 65 years and I know the deep loss you feel. Her heart extended much further than the defective one in her chest. She embraced everyone with love and joy and will leave a hole in all our hearts.
She was the glue that held the friendships from our high school together after 63 years and the organizer of lunches with the wives of the boys from that class. We have vowed to continue those lunches in her honor and just because we truly enjoy them. She kept our memories from those early years fresh and vibrant and somehow found our youth again. We laughed over the crazy past and the crazier present, enjoying our time together.
Together, your door was always open to me and to my children, and we were the recipients of the generosity of both of you. You were the "other parents" for my children. I think of you and Sam with Sully, Sam and I giggling on our overnights, staying with you two at Black Lake, saving my vision! And you, there for every move, every tragedy and every celebration, being my brother. I owe so much to both of you.
Sandy has been more than a friend. She has been my support, my confidant, my life saver, my sister and will eternally be part of my heart. So please know that I will be there for you, always, as you and Sam have been for me.
