Obituary of Estelle Barker Prewitt

Estelle Barker Prewitt of Rochester NY—September 29, 1930 - January 18, 2019—passed away peacefully at Elm Manor Nursing home in Canandaigua, NY with family and caring staff in attendance.  She is pre-deceased by her sister Mary Warren, brother O.B. Barker III, and son-in-law Tim Schreiber.  

Stell was born in Lynchburg, VA, graduated from Converse College, and taught school for two years. Married to the late John “Jack” N. Prewitt Jr  from 1952 to until 1972, Stell was a devoted mother to her three children Jack (Cheryl), Mary (Tim) Schreiber, and Elizabeth.  She leaves behind Grandchildren Justin, Leigh, Evan, and James; great grandchildren Owen, Noel, and Jesse. 

There will be a small remembrance gathering of immediate family and close friends at the home of Jack and Cheryl Prewitt on Saturday, February 2nd 2019.
