Obituary of Joseph N. DiGennaro
ROCHESTER - Passed away peacefully February 27, 2019 at 90. Mr. DiGennaro was born May 5, 1928 in Rochester, NY where he attended the Rochester School for the Deaf. After many years of employment at Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company, he retired and moved to South Florida. Joe loved to travel, bowl, play cards, entertain family and friends and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Those who knew him will miss his zest for life, lively conversation and friendship.
He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Genevieve; parents, Louis and Rose; sister, Nancy (Richard) Badum; brothers-in-law, Carl Maier and Leroy Anderson; and sister-in-law, Martha Hedberg. Joe is survived by his daughter, Junis (David) Cariello; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Cariello, Jenee (Brian) Nentwig and Rachelle Cariello; great-grandson, Bryce; sisters, Louise Maier, Frances (Mario) Parente and a number of other loving relatives. Heaven welcomes Joseph as he joins his loving wife, Genny.
