Obituary of Esther Pitzrick
Esther L. Pitzrick, aged 80, of Richland, NY, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born December 8, 1936 in Lacona, NY to the late Reverend G. Clarke and Marguerite (Waggoner) LaCelle. She was a member of the Vorea Community Church, Richland NY.
Esther graduated in 1985 from RIT with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. She worked at Lockheed Martin until her retirement. She was a caring, compassionate woman who devoted her life to her family and to her church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved twin brother and sister, Dr. Paul LaCelle and Mary (LaCelle) Kinnetz, and her son Steven Pitzrick.
Esther is survived by her children Michael of Ithaca NY, Cynthia (Dennis) Venable of Marion NY, Jeffrey of Syracuse NY, and Scott of Liverpool NY; grandsons Kevin, Andrew, Daniel Venable and Devin Wolters; granddaughters Kazmira and Jasmine Pitzrick, Claire Wolters and Jylian, Kimberly, and Bethany Pitzrick; great grandchildren Heidi, Adriana, Victoria, Micah and Olivia Venable; her brothers Dr. John LaCelle, and James LaCelle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be led by Pastor Thomas Howell at the Vorea Community Church, 12 Waggoner Rd, Richland NY, on May 27 at 1 pm.
