Obituary of Alphonse C. Fantauzzo
August 5, 2020. Age
94. Predeceased by his
beloved wife of 68 years,
Theresa (Cringoli) and
son Thomas. Survived
by his daughter Theresa (Allen) Greider,
sons Dominick (Susan),
Robert (Sue), Alphonse
Jr. (Linda), brother
Charles (Sue), several
brothers and sistersin-law; many nephews
and nieces, and many
loving grandchildren
and great grandchildren
that were near and dear
to his heart.
Mr. Fantauzzo overcame a number of physical challenges starting
at birth. As a child he
spent two years in
hospitals wheel-chair
bound and beating the
odds learned how to
walk. This embodied
the tenacious spirit he
exhibited his entire life.
A funeral mass will
be held on Tuesday
August 11th at 10AM
at St. Jerome’s Church,
207 Garfield Street, E.
Rochester NY. Internment follows at Ascension Gardens, 1900 Pinnacle Road, Henrietta.
