Obituary of James Louis Smith

It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of James Louis Smith at the age of 53. James worked in commercial printing for 32 years at several commercial print operations in New York State. His most esteemed position was having been chosen Plant Manager for In-Plant Graphics at Brown University in Rhode Island having brought 10 years of experience in managing prepress, color and digital printing operations. As an added bonus he had IT skills. Predeceased by his father James Howland Smith. Survived by his mother Barbara Wellman Major (Peter), sister Kimberly Smith Duignan, niece Shawna Fioco, son Justin Smith (Nicole Simms) 5 grandchildren Delilah, Colin, Rosalie, Juliet, Charlotte, daughters Erica Smith (Jake Ottenschott) Hannah Smith, Amber (Jared) Fox, Brittany Ramsay (Glenn Baron) and former spouse Bonnie McDowell, Aunt/Uncle Loretta (Michael) Cortash. Funeral to be held at Asbury First United Methodist Church for immediate family only. Interment to be held at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
