Obituary of Russell H. Hamman

Hamman, Russell H. Henrietta: Passed away peacefully Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Canandaigua Veterans Center at the age of 91. Russell was predeceased by his wife, Nancy and step-daughter, Anne. He is survived by 2 sons, Charles (Deborah) and Jeffrey (Susie); his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Morgan), Patrick, Ann (Ben), Katherine, David and Courtney Haight; 4 great-granddaughters; brother-in-law, Peter Black and his wife, Josephine; nieces and nephews. Russell was born February 11, 1925 in Rochester, NY. He was a WW II Combat Veteran. He worked at Eastman Kodak and retired after 40 years. Russell was a fine man and true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and care-givers at the Canandaigua VA. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 22, 11AM at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 50 Ward Hill Rd., Henrietta, NY 14467. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice.
