Obituary of Marilyn Rockcastle

Marilyn Rockcastle – Rochester Passed away on September 27, 2020 at age 84 after a long battle with RA. Marilyn was predeceased by her son, Bruce; father of her sons, Ray Rockcastle; her parents, Edith and Harold MacDowell; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Edmund Sheffield, brother, Roger MacDowell and sister-in-law, Laurel MacDowell. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Troy Rockcastle (Lisa Scott) and Greg (Holly) Rockcastle; grandchildren, Jessica Rockcastle (Kyle Garbe) and Justin Rockcastle (Jennifer Irvine); numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Rhonda (David) Janssen, special nephews, Jeff (Kathy) MacDowell and Mark (Maureen) MacDowell and lifelong friends, Florence and Ronnie Galloway. The family would like to thank the staff of Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) Friendship 3 West and URMC Hospice Care Team for their devoted care to Marilyn, especially in her final days and weeks.
